The Serenity Plan Team (now The Serenity Strategy Network) has created an Cell Action Network at SIUE to further the Plan and to include more members in the cell. Each cell has different sets of issues/problems/and or struggles they must overcome to achieve positive LGBTQIA identity development resources on their campus. At SIUE they are editing the Plan, so members of the Transgender community can have more of a say in the Plan. At Butler University Nathan Lemon is gathering students from different groups to hit the ground rolling. At Lindenwood University Chase Mueller is meeting with advisers on how to implement the plan on campus. The Serenity Plan is not perfect but it is the door for universities to talk about the initial investment into the LGBTQIA community on their higher education campus from the bottom up with the students in mind and development to administration. The Serenity Plan can be edited, as well have additions added to it and will be adapted to every campus in America, so an environment that fosters positive LGBTQIA identity Development on higher education campuses across the country can be achieved.
How The Serenity Plan Team will be financially stable? Through the three pillars of financial security which is scholarship events for students in the LGBTQIA community which would see a portion of the proceeds go to the LGBTQIA students on campuses that adapt The Serenity Plan for their Campus, through pro-bono donations, and through trainings at workplaces called Serenity Trainings which will focus on positive LGBTQIA Identity Development in the workplace, which will cost five hundred dollars a session and will focus on positive LGBTQIA identity development in the workplace across the nation and why employers should train their staff on this topic.

We are urging the support of a campaign to affect schools in the South. That campaign is called #QueerTheSouth. This endeavor will bring positive LGBTQIA Identity Development to higher Education campuses in the South. Through outreach and support for students in these schools we achieve this goal of bringing the door that is The Serenity Plan to administrators.
The Serenity Plan Team is welcoming Michael Hill as our National Strategist, whose main goal is increase exposure and stability of The Serenity Plan Team as a National Non-For-profit. Here are four short-term goals that we are working to achieve.
1. Establish the website and associated online accounts (social media, crowdfunding, PayPal, etc) and connect to a web domain.
2. Copyright the plan and associated documentation if necessary.
3. Create media i.e. videos, one page handouts, presentations, etc.
4. Reach out to news outlets to continue publicity of the plan.
Below is the formal structure of The Serenity Plan Team as different schools has different structures. As, well this email is to show that The Serenity Plan Team needs more support now than ever! We are currently seeking a financial director to handle our finances.
What has happened at SIUE will be national news soon enough and now that a formal structure has been put out we are ready for National coverage and support. If you do what’s right with honesty, courage, and integrity good things happen. May Great things happen to everyone as this movement becomes national.
